Craig Sowinski has dedicated his career to helping homeowners protect, maintain, and improve their most valuable investment: their home. As Owner, General Contractor, and Estimator for Clean N Brite Home Improvements, Craig brings more than 30 years of hands-on experience, construction knowledge, and a commitment to treating every customer with honesty, integrity, and respect.

Clean N Brite’s story began in 1990 when Craig’s father started a professional pressure washing business to help put Craig and his brother through college. Both sons worked in the family business throughout high school and college, learning the value of hard work, customer service, and quality workmanship. In 1998, Craig purchased the company from his father and transformed what had been a part-time operation into a thriving full-time business serving homeowners throughout the Augusta area.

Craig holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, which has helped shape his approach to leadership, customer service, project management, and business operations. By combining formal business education with decades of hands-on construction experience, Craig has built Clean N Brite into one of the most trusted and respected remodeling companies in the region.

Throughout his career, Craig expanded his construction knowledge while remodeling and maintaining his own homes and the rental properties he and Amy owned together. Through these experiences, Craig developed a passion for helping homeowners improve their properties while creating practical, long-term solutions that add value and functionality.

Together, Craig and Amy recognized a growing need in the community for a trustworthy home improvement company that homeowners could depend on. What began as pressure washing and maintenance services steadily evolved into the full-service remodeling and renovation company it is today.

In 2017, Craig earned his Residential Builder’s General Contractor License, further expanding Clean N Brite’s capabilities and allowing the company to take on more complex remodeling projects. Today, Craig holds General Contractor licenses in both Georgia and South Carolina, enabling Clean N Brite to serve homeowners throughout the Central Savannah River Area and beyond with professional, licensed construction services.

As the company’s General Contractor and Estimator, Craig meets directly with homeowners to understand their goals, develop practical solutions, and prepare detailed project estimates. His decades of experience allow him to identify potential challenges before construction begins, helping projects stay on schedule and within budget while ensuring customers receive the highest quality workmanship possible.

Craig firmly believes that trust is earned through clear communication, quality craftsmanship, and doing what you say you will do. Whether he is helping a customer plan a major home addition, whole-home renovation, kitchen remodel, bathroom renovation, or a smaller home improvement project, he approaches every job with the same attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Outside of work, Craig enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and golfing. He and Amy are proud parents of three children and grandparents to two grandchildren. Family has always been the foundation of both their personal lives and their business, and those values are reflected in the way they treat their customers, employees, and trade partners.
