One of the best social media platforms to use for all things home and decor is Pinterest. All you have to do is hop on, create an account, and keep track of things you like and don’t like so much. Yes, sometimes it is helpful not just to pinpoint your tastes, but also to demonstrate what it is that isn’t “you”. Honing in the final product is all about the fine details and the process of deciding them. Pinterest is an excellent way to get a feel for your overall design and decor tastes so we can make it come alive for you!

Magazines

As you are standing in line at the grocery store, take a look at the magazine rack to see if anything catches your eye. Sifting through the pages will introduce you to new ways to decorate, new materials that are on the market, and the latest trends for home building and remodeling. If you find something that you love, send it to us. All you have to do is take a picture and upload it. Sometimes it might work, sometimes it might not fit in a space, but the more information you provide us, and examples, the better chance we will have to get it 100% right for the happiest you.

Has someone in your life recently renovated their home and you absolutely love it? Take a picture and send it to us! The best way to build what you want is to have many real-life images that show your style. Even if you don’t like the entire package, circle the parts you do like, and we can work to fill in the rest. If someone else can build it, you better bet we can too.

Sometimes things look a whole lot different when you see it in a magazine versus feeling and touching it in real life. A photographer is supposed to present a picture in the best light, so it might look really good on paper. But there is no substitute for seeing and feeling things in person. Go to your local do-it-yourself center, tile store, and specialty kitchen appliance outlet. The best way to know for sure what you want is to see it for yourself. Materials can look really good, but that doesn’t mean they are sturdy or feel as you want. So take the time to look around some so that we build exactly what you want using the materials that you love the most!

Now that you have decided you are going to renovate or build, the hard part is designing it exactly to your vision. Some people know what they want down to the nails and studs, other people can be a little overwhelmed by the process.
